Mary Therese Mann Harlan, 77, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away at the Oldorf Hospice House, in Hiawatha on Monday, July 3, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 16, 1946, in Riverside, Ill. She was the daughter of the late Walter Mann and Elvira (Billy) Bogosh Mann. After graduating from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Riverside, where Billy was a lifelong organist, Mary worked in her father’s dental office in Riverside.
Three years later, Mary moved to Los Angeles. After several years in the medical field there, Mary moved to Sunnyvale, Calif. There she was the senior medical records manager from 1986, until her retirement from Sunnyvale Medical Clinic in 2006. Now, the last of the Harlan Family in California, John and Mary boarded AMTRAC and moved to Cedar Rapids.
Mary’s two siblings, Charles and Richard Mann, preceded Mary in death.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, John Harlan of Cedar Rapids; and Mary’s aunt, Elsie Mann, who resides in Snohomish, Wash.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Oldorf Hospice House.
