Are you over 50 years of age? Would you be interested in spending some time every week learning about the best ways to manage the aging process and maintain a forever young attitude? If I have your attention, I want to tell you one of the best kept secrets in this community. There is a place where we meet for socialization, educational programs, and resource referral assistance.
For the last 10 months the Four Oaks Intergenerational Bridge at 2100 First Avenue NE has been the home of the Life Enrichment Center. The older adult board members are currently hosting gatherings two days a week. We need other adults to demonstrate their interest in this project by attending our coffee and chats at 1-3:30 p.m. on Mondays and 9-11:30 a.m. on Thursdays. Every meeting includes non-alcoholic drinks/snacks, innovative programming and interesting activities to maintain brains and bodies. Please check us out as soon as possible because we are looking forward to sharing the fun.
