Biden, Trump investigations are separate issues

In the June 10 Gazette article "Trump faces 37 counts, charges reveal," Reps. Kevin McCarthy, Ashley Hinson and others continue to bring up President Biden in reference to the Trump legal issues. I don't understand. The Biden issue regarding classified documents is an on going investigation by DOJ but is in no way relevant to the Trump case. The investigation of the former president's case has been completed and sufficient evidence has been found to indict him.

It has become a GOP talking point to divert attention away from the issue by bringing up irrelevant and unrelated cases. It is embarrassing that our Iowa representatives can't seem to understand they are separate cases.
