Kathryn Eileen Craig, 91, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Hospice of Mercy surrounded by her loving family. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 22, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, Iowa, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m., an hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Dunkard Cemetery.
Kathryn was born on Dec. 4, 1931, to John and Mary (Matejka) Sullivan in Walker, Iowa. She married Robert Craig on May 25, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Kathryn was employed by Collins Radio, J-Tec Associates, and went into home daycare. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Hiawatha, Iowa. Kathryn will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Kathryn is survived and lovingly remembered by her son, Keith (Sandra); grandsons, Justin (Kristi), Michael (Amy) and John; Ashley who was like a granddaughter; and great-grandchildren, Dani, Kam, Lily, Gabrielle, Gavin, Gemma, Steven and Joseph.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; all of her siblings; and only daughter, Pamela.
