Andy Obiedzinski, 44, of Urbana, Iowa, passed away, Thursday, June 15, 2023, at his home. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point, Iowa.
Andy was born Jan. 14, 1979, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Bruce and Wendy (Staab) Obiedzinski. He graduated from Center Point Urbana High School and attended Kirkwood Community College. Andy was employed at ADM as a production technician. His favorite thing in life was being a dad. He loved the quality times he had with his kids. Andy was a dedicated son who took care of his mom the best anyone could. He made friends everywhere he went and loved being outdoors. Andy enjoyed bowling league and qualified for state the last two years. He was a member of the Iowa State Bowling Association. Andy was a foodie who loved cooking and grilling, and he especially loved Mexican and Japanese. Andy will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his mother, Wendy Obiedzinski; fiancé, Kristen Miller; children, Morgan and Dugan Obiedzinski, and Alexander and Karis Miller; former spouse, Mariah Obiedzinski; brother, Matthew (Mary) Obiedzinski; as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins; best friend, Shaun Elias; and four-legged family members, Mack and Marley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Obiedzinski.
Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association and Cedar Valley Humane Society.
