Michelle Marie Hollan was born May 21, 1990, the daughter of Michael and Valorie Hollan. She graduated from Williamsburg High School in 2008. Michelle enjoyed puzzles, video games, hummingbirds and especially spending time with her children and pets. She is remembered as being a very kind and caring person to everyone she knew and always tried to make time for family and friends. Michelle passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, at the age of 33 years.
Michelle is survived by her children, Lance Gronewold and Grace Wiebold of Williamsburg; parents, Michael Hollan of Williamsburg and Valorie Hollan of Marengo; sisters, Lisa Hall (Guy Beebe) of Marengo and Ashley Hollan (William Flachman) of Cedar Rapids; brother, Derek Stoneking of Iowa City; niece, Ellie Hall of Marengo; nephews, Chris, Caleb and Vincent Beebe of Marengo; boyfriend, Nick Wiebold and his mother, Deb Garringer (Ron Garringer) of Williamsburg; grandfathers, Chuck Hollan and Daryl Mally; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Celebration of Life service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time. A memorial fund has been established for the children.
