Cedar Rapids man charged with sexually abusing child

CEDAR RAPIDS — A 36-year-old Cedar Rapids man was arrested this week on charges he sexually abused a 3- or 4-year-old child multiple times between January and April.
Zachary William Stark is charged with two counts of second-degree sexual abuse, and one count each of lascivious acts with a child and indecent contact with a child. The child reported the abuse to child protection authorities, according to a criminal complaint.
Stark had his first appearance in court Thursday and was released from jail after posting a $50,000 bond. A no-contact order has been filed on behalf of the child.
