Dalton Anthony Rios, 28, of North Liberty, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023.
A Visitation for family and friends will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, at Lensing Funeral & Cremation, Iowa City.
Dalton was born on Aug. 7, 1994, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Chris Berger and Victoria Rios. He was a 2012 graduate of West High School and went to Kirkwood Community College. He was currently working as a painter and a farmer.
Dalton enjoyed boxing, fishing, skateboarding, motorcycles, and WWE. He was a sports enthusiast and loved baseball, and his little brother, Kevin Penelton.
Dalton accepted Jesus as his savior and encouraged others to do the same.
He is survived by his mother, Victoria Rios; his father, Chris Berger and stepmom, Donna; brother, Kevin Penelton; maternal uncles, Tony, Matt, Patt and BJ; paternal uncle, Brad Berger; maternal aunts, Angel and Lou (Lori); paternal aunt, Pam Gillham; fiancé, Serene’; maternal grandmother, Donna; and paternal grandmother, Patricia Berger. He also is survived by numerous great-uncles, -aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Grandpa, “Poops” Rios; his grandpa, Raymond Berger; and uncles, Mark and Raymond Berger Jr.
