Memorial Day Service
Honor military members who died in the line of duty at this Memorial Day observance that includes an opening prayer, live patriotic music, presentation of the Colors, volley salute, and more. Guest speaker will be Dick Bell with Eastern Iowa Honor Flight.

This Memorial Day service will feature keynote speaker Cecilia Rokusek, president and CEO of the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library. It also will include the Czech Heritage Foundation Royal Court, live music and refreshments.

31st Annual Iowa Renaissance Festival & Gathering O’ Celts
This annual celebration of European history and world culture also features stages of professional entertainment, games of skill, demonstrations and exhibits, a food court, beer garden and wine shop, hands-on activities and costumed village characters.

Memorial Day Ride
Come explore the
newly paved Grant Wood Trail. In honor of the day we will stop at the American Legion monument along the trail for a quiet moment of reflection.
