Joseph V. Cassano was born Feb. 8, 1944, in Chicago, Ill. He died May 19, 2023. A Vietnam War army veteran serving bravely and valiantly in Saigon for two tours, his service to his country will always be
recognized by those who loved him dearly. Once his second tour was bravely completed, he moved himself and his family back to Chicago and started his mark in the trades, where he started his own aluminum siding business.
Joseph was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen Cassano (nee Lupo), and both parents. He is survived by his daughter, Cristina Nakashian (Nathan) and granddaughter Amber Wolters (James), as well as his two brothers, and childhood friend Al “Chooch” Palmer.
