Russell Jerome Tibbetts, 73, long-time Cedar Rapids resident, passed away on May 6, 2023, in Fort Myers, Fla. He was born on April 22, 1950, in Minneapolis, Minn.
Russ is survived by his sons, Jason, Josh and Jeff; his sister, Carole McConnell; former spouses, Donna and Marti; and six grandchildren, Kitty, Anna, Julia, Ray, Rook and Rebecca.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Agnes; and his brothers, Bob and Dick.
Russ will be interred at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minn.
