Pam Ward, 60, of Newton, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023, at Newton Health Care Center. Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 24, at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids. Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. with family present. A livestream of the funeral service may be accessed on the funeral home website under the obituary for Pamela Ward, under the video tab starting at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 24. Burial: Dunkard Cemetery.
Survivors include her sister, Deb Wagner of Newton; nieces, Lorie Foreman of Grinnell, Wendy (Chad) van Zandt of Kirksville, Mo., and Vicky (John Moore) Foreman of Montezuma; along with many great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great-nieces.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and niece, Kelly Jo.
Pam Ward was born April 22, 1963, to Robert and Helen Ward in Cedar Rapids. Pam was a loving and delightful child to all who knew her. Pam enjoyed dancing and listening to music. She was known for her infectious laugh and smile, and was loved by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Down Syndrome Foundation.
