John E. Young Jr., 80, of Washington, Iowa, died Monday, May 15, 2023, at the Washington County Hospital following a sudden illness.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 22, at St. James Catholic Church in Washington, with Father Bernie Weir officiating. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 21, at St. James Catholic Church. Interment will take place at a later date at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts to the United Presbyterian Home. Services will be livestreamed on the Jones & Eden Facebook page.
