Michael E. Eganhouse, 65, passed away on May 9, 2023, at his home in Tucson, Ariz. Michael is survived by his children, Amber (Eric) Henline of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Alex Eganhouse and partner Nicholas Dillman of Huntsville, Ala.; grandchildren, Reid and Reyata Ortiz; fiancé, Margaret “Dot” Roland; siblings, Jenny Andrews and Ken Eganhouse; and former spouse/mother of his sons, Patricia Hanlon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Barbara Eganhouse; siblings, Dave and Paul Eganhouse; and his beloved son, Andrew Eganhouse.
He was an avid live music supporter and lived life unapologetically. He was a kind and gentle soul. He was very generous with his time and resources and helped many a friend in need. After moving to Tucson, he developed a passion for the local ecosystem. He enjoyed attracting wildlife to his back porch, feeding the hummingbirds, and observing the desert landscape. He will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed towards the American Heart Association.
