Dr. Kent S. Pearson, 68, of rural Iowa City, longtime University of Iowa Hospitals anesthesiologist, died at his home Friday, May 5, 2023, with his family at his side.
A time for family and friends to gather to remember Kent will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Grace Community Church in rural North Liberty. The evening will conclude with remarks shared by Chaplain Kirk Statler of Iowa City Hospice. In lieu of flowers, his family ask that you consider memorial donations to the Parkinson’s Association or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
