New hires
The University of Iowa Energy Collaborative, the P3 formed between ENGIE and Meridiam, has named Todd Stewart as chief financial officer.
Laura Watrous has joined Balanced Fitness & Health in Cedar Rapids and Hiawatha as an occupational therapist specializing as a certified hand therapist and certified lymphedema therapist.
Skyler Rath has joined Skogman Realty as a Realtor.
Paul Rost has joined Skogman Realty as a Realtor.
Promotions
Adam Munier has been promoted to the rank of sergeant and will be a supervisor in the Linn County Correctional Center in Cedar Rapids He previously was a deputy in the patrol division.

HEART AWARD: UnityPoint Health-St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids has received the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR Chest Pain MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2023. The award recognizes St. Luke’s success in implementing a higher standard of care for heart attack patients.

CRMA FREE ADMISSION: The Cedar Rapids Museum of Art will admit active duty military personnel and their families for free this summer, beginning May 20, as part of the Blue Star Museums program.
LEADERSHIP OF FIVE SEASONS ANNIVERSARY: Leadership for Five Seasons will celebrate its 40th anniversary June 1, with all alumni invited to attend. The event will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in downtown Cedar Rapids from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Registration is at https://tinyurl.com/mryd8mtn. Cost is $60 per person, with a share of the proceeds going to the organization’s youth program.
BUSINESS BREAKFAST: Registration is now open for the next Gazette Business Breakfast on Tuesday, with a panel discussion planned on “Regional Collaboration Strategies.”
Panelists will be Cady Gerlach, executive director of Better Together 2030; Tiffany O'Donnell, mayor of Cedar Rapids; Doug Neumann, executive director of the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance; and Ryan Waller, city manager of Marion. Gazette Executive Editor Zack Kucharski will serve as panel moderator.
