Loren P. Meade, 85, of Oxford, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Cosgrove, with Father Francis Mensah officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery. Visitation will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church on Friday, May 5, from 4 to 7 p.m. with a prayer vigil at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Iowa City Hospice and St. Peter Catholic Church. Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona is assisting with arrangements.
