Iowa women great, but not champions

In response to Annamarie Marcalus on April 16 (“UI women cement legacy of being winners,“) the Iowa women's basketball team was great, but they are not "global winners and champions." They lost the championship game. First thing to unify the U.S. since "Seabiscuit?" I guess you forgot about the 1980 Olympic Hockey team.

Sorry to rain on your parade but there is only one champion, and that is LSU.
