Where is ‘pro-life’ movement on protecting kids in school?

The so-called pro-life force came out strongly to protest Roe vs. Wade, but recent events have me wondering about this misnomer. Where is the pro-life movement in the wake of yet another mass shooting that terrifies and kills children? If the “pro-life” crowd chooses to protect gun rights and not the rights of children, then they are anti-abortion, but not pro-life. But can they not see the hypocrisy in protecting an unborn child but yet doing nothing to help a living child? This crowd wants the babies born but seldom follows through in being for their lives with supporting paid maternity leave, health care benefits, public education, etc. In fact, the “pro-life” movement remains eerily silent on the issue of gun control. And silence is deadly. As deadly as the bullets from an AR-15 that shatters the skull of a 9-year old child.
Sincerely,
Peggy Dolson
