State leaders should intervene in nursing home issues

I'm asking the governor and legislators to find the time to get involved in Iowa's nursing homes. We've had two residents die horrible deaths recently. Apparently some nursing homes have closed recently with little or no notice. Others are under staffed, which is dangerous for the residents. Iowa has a large percentage of elderly and the fact this is happening to them is a disgrace.
