Where are they playing this baseball season?

CEDAR RAPIDS — Here’s a look at area Iowans in the minors. These are players in affiliated professional baseball from Eastern Iowa and the University of Iowa.
Guys that got released in the offseason and/or spring training are Mount Vernon grad and former University of Iowa pitchers C.J. Eldred and Brady Schanuel, Cedar Rapids Jefferson grad Spencer Van Scoyoc and former Iowa outfielder Robert Neustrom.
All the following statistics are through Friday.
Nick Allgeyer (Iowa/Philadelphia Phillies) — Pitcher is with Lehigh Valley of the International League, the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. Has made two starts, allowing two hits and three runs and striking out nine in 6 1/3 innings.
Ben Beutel (Iowa/Chicago White Sox) — Davenport Assumption High School grad is in extended spring training.
Tyler Cropley (Iowa/Kansas City Royals) — Catcher begins the season on the Development List for Double-A Northwest Arkansas.
Duncan Davitt (Iowa/Tampa Bay Rays) — Pitcher has gotten in two relief appearances so far this season with Class-A Charleston. Has allowed three earned runs in three innings.
Matt Dermody (Norwalk/Iowa/Boston Red Sox) — Veteran southpaw pitcher has hooked on with Triple-A Worcester. Has thrown twice so far this season, including one start. Has allowed eight hits and five earned runs in nine innings, with 10 strikeouts.
Jack Dreyer (Johnston/Iowa/Los Angeles Dodgers) — In the Midwest League with the high-Class A Great Lakes Loons. Has allowed two hits and six walks with eight strikeouts in four innings thus far.
Nick Gallagher (Iowa City West/Iowa/Chicago White Sox) — Is in Double-A with the Birmingham Barons. Has allowed three hits in 5 1/3 innings with eight strikeouts over three appearances.
Drew Irvine (Waukee/Iowa/Pittsburgh Pirates) — Has pitched twice for high-A Greensboro. Has allowed three hits, five walks and five earned runs in one-third inning over two relief appearances.
Grant Judkins (Pella/Iowa/Oakland Athletics) — Pitcher is on the 60-day disabled list at low-A Stockton.
Mitch Keller (Cedar Rapids Xavier/Pittsburgh Pirates) — Pitcher has gotten off to a nice start. Has made three starts: receiving a win and two non-decisions. Has given up 16 hits in 17 2/3 innings, with eight walks and 22 strikeouts.
Austin Krob (Lisbon/San Diego Padres) — Lefty pitcher has made one start for low-A Lake Elsinore (California League), going three innings, allowing no hits, three walks and an unearned run, striking out six.
Adam Mazur (Iowa/San Diego Padres) — Making his professional debut, the second-round draft pick in 2022 has made two pitching starts for high-A Fort Wayne of the Midwest League. He has allowed six hits, two walks and three runs in six innings, striking out five.
Mason McCoy (Iowa/Seattle Mariners) — Shortstop is back with Triple-A Tacoma. Has played in 12 games for the Rainiers, hitting .283 with a home run and seven RBIs.
Cole McDonald (New Hampton/Iowa/Houston Astros) — Has been two scoreless relief appearances early for the right-handed pitcher, who is with High-A Asheville.
Ian Moller (Dubuque Wahlert/Texas Rangers) — Catcher is a repeat Down East Wood Duck. He’s 5-for-14 in four games this season, with a RBI.
Dylan Nedved (Iowa/San Diego Padres) — Pitcher is with low-A Lake Elsinore, where he has not allowed a run in two relief appearances and has picked up a save. Has struck out five in 2 1/3 innings.
Ben Norman (Des Moines Roosevelt/Iowa/Chicago White Sox) — Outfielder is 4-for-11 in four games thus far for high-A Winston-Salem. Has two homers and four RBIs.
A.J. Puk (Cedar Rapids Washington/Miami Marlins) — Southpaw reliever was traded in the offseason from Oakland to Miami. Has thrown in five games in the early going for the Marlins and has a save. Has given up four hits, a walk and an earned run in six innings, with six strikeouts.
Evan Reifert (Wilton/Tampa Bay Rays) — Pitcher is on the seven-day injured list for Double-A Montgomery.
Tommy Specht (Dubuque Wahlert/Texas Rangers) — Outfielder and 2022 draft pick begins this season in extended spring training.
Levi Usher (Cedar Rapids Prairie/Kansas City Royals) — Outfielder has gotten into two games so far for Class A Columbia and is 2-for-7 with a RBI.
Connor Van Scoyoc (Cedar Rapids Jefferson/Los Angeles Angels) — Right-handed pitcher has moved up to high-A Tri-City this season. Has made one start, allowing two hits and three walks in four innings, striking out five. Currently on the temperorarily inactive list.
Trenton Wallace (Iowa/Toronto Blue Jays) — Lefty hurler is with high-A Vancouver and has made one start. That lasted five innings, and he gave up just two hits and no runs in it, striking out five.
Peyton Williams (Iowa/Toronto Blue Jays) — First baseman is with low-Class A Dunedin. Is 3-for-26 in seven games, with no home runs and three RBIs. Has struck out 10 times.
Keaton Winn (Pekin/San Francisco Giants) — Righty pitcher was added to San Francisco’s 40-man major league roster in the offseason. Has made two starts for Triple-A Sacramento so far this season, allowing 10 hits and seven earned runs in 6 1/3 innings.
