Jon A. Sarchett, 64, of Cedar Rapids, passed away April 11, 2023, at Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, in Hiawatha, Iowa. Jon was born May 25, 1958, to Dean and Ilomay Sarchett at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School, Cedar Rapids, in 1976.
He is survived by an older brother, Mark Sarchett of Marion; niece, Tina of Fairfax; niece, Carrie and grandnephew, Ryan of Mount Vernon; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an older brother, Michael Sarchett.
A private burial ceremony will be performed at a future date.
