Ruth E. Carthey, 90, of Iowa City, died April 8, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service, where there will be a time of visitation from 9 a.m. until services on Friday at the funeral home. Entombment will take place at the Mausoleum at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Ruth’s memory to Camp Courageous, 12007 190th St., Monticello, IA 52310.
