While I was in the dentist’s office a while back, I was talking to an older fellow who was bemoaning the fact that President Biden had just approved $31 billion in aid to Ukraine. I said, "While I don't have a good understanding of what a billion of anything is, I was thinking about this the other day, and my thoughts were this. If we could go back in time and prevent Adolf Hitler or many other murderous individuals who were responsible for the inhumane acts that killed millions of people, both of their own country and of ours, how much would be too much?“
The obvious answer is that no amount of money would be too much. The lives of the people and the lives of the brave men and women who inevitably defeated them and the misery they caused were beyond any monetary value. I am proud of Joe Biden for his unwavering support of the people of Ukraine and the right to freedom from tyranny. We have a chance to be the good guys again. God bless America!
