Lori Glisch, 60, of Marion, Iowa, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, at her home. The family will greet friends from 2 to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion.
Lori was born Jan. 7, 1963, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Larry and Marsha (Sweet) Milroy. She graduated from Linn-Mar High School and went on to attend Mount Mercy College. Lori was united in marriage to Jeff Glisch on Aug. 16, 1985, at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Cedar Rapids. She loved art, going to Barnes & Noble, and Starbucks coffee. Above all else, Lori loved her children and her dogs.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Glisch; children, Leah (Eli) Smith and Trevor Glisch (Laura Siroky); mother, Marsha (Jack) Sweet; father, Larry (Dawn) Milroy; brother, Chris Milroy; nephews, Cade Milroy and Jake Glisch; nieces, Autumn Milroy and Jenna Glisch; brother-in-law, Mike Glisch; sister-in-law, Mary Glisch; and her faithful companions, Finn, Chika and Penny.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Don White; and grandparents, Helen and Pete White.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lori’s name to Last Hope Animal Rescue, shelter of their choice, or any organization benefiting the arts.
