She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Betty Traisnel; and husband, Donald Hanson.
Karol was born Jan. 8, 1956, in Davenport, Iowa. Her best school memories were made in Crystal Lake, Ill. When KT first moved to Iowa, she worked at the Montrose Hotel, then bartended for 28 years, worked at the Cigarette Outlet for seven years, and retired in 2021 from Amana-Whirlpool. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her grandkids learned from her how to play Skip-Bo and marbles. KT liked to party, shoot pool and fish. She shot pool for many years for Bob’s Hide-a-Way and Stop Off. She’s made many friends through the years, had a great sense of humor, beautiful smile and liked to joke a lot.
She has gone to join her family members that have passed on and her good friends: Patty, Hanni, Barb, Theresa and many more.
Mom, you will be missed beyond measure. Love you – the family.
