Sally M. Ford, 75, of Marion, passed away on Feb. 8, 2023, at Silver Oaks Care Center in Marion. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery Section: Garden of Cross. Cedar Memorial is in charge of arrangements.
Sally is survived by her daughter, Annette Daniels of Swisher; brother, Donald (Gwen) Eells of Vinton; nephew, Andrew Eells of Marion; niece, Rebecca Eells of Pennsylvania; and former husband, Mike Ford of Swisher.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Ford; and parents, Herb and Thelma.
Sally was born on May 26, 1947, in Cedar Rapids. She grew up in Cresco and Vinton, Iowa. Sally graduated from Vinton-Shellsburg in 1966 and then attended Hamilton in the ’90s to obtain a degree in paralegal studies. She enjoyed wildlife, being outdoors, reading, along with traveling later in life. Her favorite vacation spots were Missouri and Walt Disney World in Florida.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
