Barbara Sue Aiello, 73, of Cedar Rapids, went to be with the Lord Feb. 10, 2023, surrounded by her loving daughters. A memorial will be held at a later date. Susi was born in Oelwein, Iowa, on Aug 16, 1949, to Cisi and Anthony Aiello.
Susi is survived by her four children, Jason Ross (Kristin), Brian Ross (Jamie), Katie Candia (Pete) and Crystal Anthes (Jon); and two older sisters, Kati Rogness, Alaska, and Lisa Slick, Cedar Rapids.
Susi worked at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, where she retired in 2015. Susi's passion was spoiling her grandchildren, Diymell, Patience, Keistin, Jonathan, Dominic, Elliot, Olivia, Weston, Noah and Gia. She loved cooking, traveling, and taking almost everyone she knew out to eat or to pick up bread in Oelwein. She also could out-shop anyone willing to give it a try.
Susi was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Dan Rogness.
Family would like to thank West Ridge Care Center for their support.
Susi will be remembered by her kind heart, generous soul, and witty personality.
