Terry G. DeMoss, 78, of Oxford Junction passed away on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, at his home.
His funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, at Dawson Funeral Services in Oxford Junction. A visitation will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at Dawson Funeral Services. Burial will be at Massillon Cemetery at a later date.
Terry Gene was born on April 14, 1944, in Clinton County, Iowa, to Clifford DeMoss and Mildred Wolfe. He graduated from Jefferson High School. On April 1, 1966, he was united in marriage to Patricia Jones. Terry worked as a mechanic and was a man of many trades. He enjoyed visiting the casino, searching for mushrooms and deer hunting. He loved spending time with his family and playing games.
Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons; Michael (Nancy) DeMoss of Mesa, Ariz., and Kevin (Jeannette) DeMoss of Oxford Junction; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy (Brian) Niebhr of Lost Nation and Cheryl (Robin) Coker of Anamosa; and five brothers, David (Carol) DeMoss of Carlisle, Kenneth (Marty) DeMoss of Cedar Rapids, Craig DeMoss of Anamosa, Roger (Tracy) DeMoss of Cedar Rapids and Michael (Holly) DeMoss of Clackamas, Ore.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a brother, Rolland.
