2 die in southwest Cedar Rapids crash
A third suffered non-life threatening injuries, police say

CEDAR RAPIDS — Two people were killed and a third injured Saturday evening in a crash in southwest Cedar Rapids, police said.
The crash happened between a sedan and a pickup truck about 5 p.m. at the intersection of Wiley Boulevard SW and Williams Boulevard SW. Police have not yet released the names of the drivers involved.
Two people in the car, an 81-year-old woman and a 75-year-old man, were transported to a hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The driver of the pickup, a man whose age was not provided, was taken to a hospital with what police described as non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities said the crash remains under investigation.
