Judith Mary Tanner (Lutz, Christ)
Kelly Lake, Wis.
It’s with extreme sorrow that we are sharing the passing of Judith Mary Tanner (Lutz, Christ). Wife, Mother, Grandmother and good friend of so many. Judi was taken way too soon by cancer, which she defeated 20 years ago but just wasn’t strong enough to beat it again. Judi is survived by her family, Husband Craig Tanner, Son Scott Tanner (Jill Weigert), Granddaughter Amber Tanner (Kyle Schultz), Grandson Aiden Tanner, Sisters-in-law Jill Schneider and Karen Lutz, Nieces Michelle Grenke, Sue Codey, Gwenn Radtke (Andrew Radtke) and Terra Schneider, and Nephews Vincent and John Rudolph.
Judi was preceded in death by her Dad and Mother Jack and Marcella Lutz, Brother Tom Lutz, Sister Connie Carter, Mother and Father-in-law DuWayne and Russell Tanner, Brother -in-law David Schneider, and Spouse Bob Christ.
Judi was successful as a Human Resources Manager at Green Bay Metro Sewerage District, Mercy Medical Center at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Appleton Medical Center at Appleton, WI. That career was perfect for Judi as she was the consummate People Person. She honestly cared about people and remembered the names of hundreds of coworkers from many years past. Judi resided at Kelly Lake (Suring, Wis.) at both her home and the Lutz Family cottage. Judi spent the winter with her Husband traveling the Southern States trying to stay warm. Port Aransas, Texas, was a favorite fishing village on the Gulf of Mexico where she spent winter months and enjoyed Happy Hour with many friends from all over the United States and Canada.
Instead of gifts, the family asks you send a prayer to our Lord to save a special place for a Special person.
Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls, Wis., with a 6 p.m. memorial service to follow.
