Ricky “Rick” Lynn Lane, 62, of Palo, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023, from a short illness. Rick is now reunited with his parents, Gerald “Jerry” and Nancy (Graff) Lane.
A private celebration of life will be held by the family. Entrusted with the arrangements is Iowa Cremation.
Rick was born Oct. 12, 1960, and grew up in Clinton, Ill., before moving to Maroa, Ill. He enjoyed reading, fishing, building things, his “little dog” Princess, solitude, and family. Part of him lives on in his daughter, Casey (Mario) Moore, and their children, Alex and Izzy. Forever held in the hearts of his brother, Randy (Brenda) Lane, and their children, Shawnell, Zachery (Bronte), Kiley; his sister, Cheryl (Bryan) Schroeder, and their children, Ashely (Michael) and Dylan; and five great-nieces and -nephews.
