Caryol J. Reid, 60, of Cedar Rapids passed away on Monday, Jan. 30, at Living Center West Nursing Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Caryol was born on May 14, 1962 to George and Patricia (Denny) Reid in Anamosa, Iowa. She attended George Washington High School, graduating in 1981. After high school, Caryol pursued a degree as a certified nursing assistant and worked at various facilities through the years.
Caryol loved to cook and enjoyed sharing food with her family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her good friends, Claire and Kelly, as well as Sarah and her children.
Caryol is survived by her mother, Patricia; siblings, Bill (Lisa) Reid of Central City, Janice Noke of Cedar Rapids, Dave Reid of Fairfax and Coni (Steve) Schaul of Robins; three nieces, three nephews and two great-nieces; as well as her beloved dog, Abby.
Caryol was preceded in death by her father, George, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Family would like to thank Rae for her devotion and love for Caryol.
