Joyce Frame (Buscher) Burg, 70, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Jan. 29, 2023, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha. A private graveside service will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Cedar Memorial is in charge of arrangements.

Joyce was born on Sept. 13, 1952, in Independence, Iowa, the daughter of John P. and Pearl (Besler) Buscher. She was a 1970 graduate of Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids. She married Randy Frame in 1971 and they later divorced. She married the love of her life, Tony Burg in 2008. Her working career was with Travel Advisors and Parker Hannifin. Joyce loved to cook and bake, giving most of her baked goods away to friends and neighbors. Her greatest joy was being with her son Doug’s family camping or just spending time at home with her family and friends. Joyce was very quick-witted and gave everyone who knew her many laughs over the years. Joyce will be missed, but never forgotten by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish Joyce’s memory are her husband of 15 years, Tony; son, Doug (Kellie) Frame of Adel, Iowa; grandchildren, Abbye Frame and Jeremy Frame; sister, Judith Buscher Kinney; brother, Galen (Brenda) Buscher; sisters-in-law, Theola (Mike) Hauskins, Diane Burg and Joan Frame; along with many nieces and nephews.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jeremy Brian Frame; her brothers, Marvin G. Buscher and John H. Buscher; sister-in-law, Ercyle Buscher; nephew, Scott Buscher; brother-in-law, Wayne A. Kinney; mother-in-law, Levine Burg; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Burg.
