Jeff W. Johnson, 67, of Marion, Iowa, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023, at UnityPoint-St. Luke’s Hospital, due to a sudden illness. Per Jeff’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.
Jeff was born on April 11, 1955, to Amos D. Johnson and Bonnie Fowler. He graduated from Linn-Mar High School in 1973. Jeff married his high school sweetheart, Vickie Etscheidt, on Aug. 16, 1975. He worked for National Oats, also known as Ralston - Conagra and Tree House, he worked for 45 years before retiring in 2019. Words cannot express Jeff’s love and devotion to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his wife and boys.
Jeff is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, Vickie of Marion; three sons, Dustin Robert, Christopher Dean and Travis Gene; and five grandchildren, Ashley, Bella, Riley, Regann, and Kohen.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; and brother, Allen.
