Don’t fall for tricks during tax talks
Joel Snell
Jan. 16, 2023 6:00 am
On a per capita basis, a few rich people own most of the productive property. Therefore, the rest of us pay increased taxes if the economy goes south. Who pays? The big payers are blue collar Roman Catholics and working class evangelicals.
Property taxes can be a real scam. The whole discussion about taxes can really be lost in language and numbers not understood by most of us. So let’s not defund the police or related. It is another Republican trick.
