Mary Esther Carrie Hutchcroft, 99, of Manchester, Iowa, formerly of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, at her daughter’s home.
Survivors left to cherish her memory include two sons, Kim S. (Honey) Hutchcroft of Crestline, Calif., and Lon H. (Tammie) Hutchcroft of Summerfield, Fla.; her daughter, Lucia Linn Hutchcroft of Manchester; five grandchildren, Harmony (Greg) Cho, Heather (Josh) Avis, Hana (Nathanael) Balon, Tessa Hutchcroft and Christian (Kisha) Hutchcroft; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Etha Hutchcroft of Ames; “daughters,” Niloufer Harben of Malaysia, Trine (Geir) Ellefsen of Norway and Char (Roger) Wright of Manchester; “grandchildren,” Marissa (Nate) Wright-Post and Kyle Wright; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service: 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, at the First Presbyterian Church in Manchester, with the Rev. Nathan Lamb officiating.
Manchester visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, at First Presbyterian Church in Manchester.
Middletown visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Simple Gatherings (formerly the Middletown Presbyterian Church) 225 Main Street, Middletown, Iowa.
Interment: Middletown Cemetery, Middletown, Iowa.
