Mildred "Millie" Ann Heiar, 83, of Cedar Rapids went to be with the Lord on Jan. 7, 2023. Born Feb. 10, 1939, the daughter of the late Merrill and Ruby Finley. Her husband, Donald Heiar, preceded her in death in 2009. She is survived by her sister, four daughters, a son, six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son and three siblings.
Millie was a retired CNA/OMT and a member of Twin Pines Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting items for charities. She loved the Iowa Hawkeyes, singing, crafts, and spending time with family.
A visitation will be held on Jan. 13, 2023, 10 to 11 a.m., with a memorial service immediately following at 11 a.m. at Twin Pines Baptist Church, 95 S. Mentzer Rd., Robins, IA 52328. A graveside committal will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Twin Pines Baptist Church.
