Christopher “Chris” David Roher, 60, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formerly of Anamosa, Iowa, and Decorah, Iowa, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022, at UnityPoint-St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. In agreement with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Chris’ life will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at the Decorah VFW Post #163, located at 104 State Street in Decorah, Iowa. Inurnment will follow at St. Benedict’s Catholic Cemetery in Decorah.
