Reva R. Finley, 72, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, at Hallmark Care Center in Mount Vernon following a lengthy illness.
A private graveside service for immediate family only will be held.
Reva Rae Finley was born Sept. 26, 1950, to Alfred and Margaret (Lyon) Pegariek in Anamosa, Iowa. She graduated from Anamosa High School. Reva worked for Nash Finch Company for 30 years and later retired from Americold. Reva was a huge Neil Diamond fan. She enjoyed doing family genealogy, geocaching, playing Candy Crush and spending time with her family.
Reva is survived by her children Marsha (Mark) Dewell of Lowden, Iowa, Michael Otten of Sellers, S.C., and Melanie Otten of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; sisters, Rena (Scott) Emmert of Marion, Iowa, and Rita (Bill) Matthews of Bettendorf, Iowa; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild with two more on the way, and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ronda.
Memorials may be made in Reva’s name to Hospice of Mercy or Hallmark Care Center in Mount Vernon.
