Dorothy “Polly” Beers passed away peacefully on Dec. 17, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospice Unit after a sudden illness. Following Polly’s wishes, there will be no services. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Paul at Linn Grove Cemetery in rural Mount Vernon, Iowa. Local surviving family includes daughter Paula Pike, grandsons Brad and Travis Pike and their families. Full obituary may be found at cedarmemorial.com.
