Clear Creek Amana High plant science class makes ‘porch pots’ for the holidays

TIFFIN — Students in a plant science class at Clear Creek Amana High School created winter porch pots earlier this month.
Expert Dawn Bouslog from Pleasant Valley Greenhouse joined the class Dec. 8, to share her expert skills and craftsmanship in creating winter porch pots. Each student created their own porch pot to take home and enjoy this winter.
Students learned about the greenhouse industry, design principals and operating under a budget during this lesson.
