Bradford “Brad” Lee Corkery, 63, of Coggon, Iowa, passed away on Monday, Dec. 12, 2022, at his home. In agreement with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Brad’s life will be held at a later date.
Brad was born on April 20, 1959, the son of William Vincent and Marilyn Esther (Bachman) Corkery. He graduated from Lisbon High School. On June 11, 2018, Brad was united in marriage to Sharon Rae Bissell in Coggon. He worked as a mechanic for many years. Brad enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and restoring his El Camino. He most enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Brad is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, Sharon Corkery of Coggon; two daughters, Tara and Tanya Corkery, both of Ohio; mother, Marilyn Corkery of Marion; and sister, Cindy (Gary) Collins of Marion.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Corkery; and brother, Blaine Corkery.
