Sun Alisa Colleen Greenhaw, 70, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Dec. 12, 2022. No services are presently planned. Stewart Baxter Funeral and Memorial Services of Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.
Survivors include her children, Saasha Celestial-One, Richard Loc Stewart, Coleman Greenhaw, Kane Richardsun, Elise Beck and AlexSaandra Kirk; and her grandchildren, Julian, Ione, Rolend, Drake, Geniva, Aiden, Nolan, Heleyna, Aletta and Iyanna.
Alisa Colleen Greenhaw (she changed her first name to Sun later) was born in Texas on Feb. 2, 1952, to Esther and Edgar Greenhaw. Sun grew up in Palo, Iowa, before moving to Cedar Rapids, where she spent the rest of her life.
Sun loved to garden and cook, and is famous for her homemade pickles, jams and salsas. She loved nothing more than a house full of fun, food and the laughter of her children and grandchildren.
She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who survive her.
