Harold Leon Walton Jr., 71, passed in his home on Monday, Dec. 12, 2022, due to complications of COPD.
Harold was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army who achieved the rank of Corporal while serving in Germany. Harold enjoyed fishing, fixing cars, collecting and
making "Sunday Calls." He cracked jokes
often and told the best stories.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Velma Simeons and Harold Walton Sr. (KIA, Korea); his sisters, Verna and Becky; and son, Chad Sanders.
He leaves behind his good friend Carol; sister,
Anita (Dick) Capp; and his children, Tricia, Marshall, Jacinda, Keara (Tru) and Camren; as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, who he loved dearly.
Oakland Church of the Nazarene will host a service this Saturday, Dec. 17, at 1 p.m.
