A name that will live in infamy
Dec. 12, 2022 6:00 am
Dec. 7 is Pearl Harbor Day. President Franklin Roosevelt aptly called it, “A day that will live in infamy.”
In more recent history, former president Donald Trump's company was found guilty on all 17 charged counts including conspiracy and falsifying business records.
Also, according to the AP: Special counsel Jack Smith has subpoenaed local election officials in Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona and Pennsylvania, asking for communications with or involving former President Donald Trump, his 2020 campaign aides and a list of allies involved in his efforts to try to overturn the results of the election.
Also, according to the AP: The House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol will make criminal referrals to the Justice Department as it wraps up its probe and looks to publish a final report by the end of the year, the panel’s chairman said Tuesday.
And the probe continues into the former President's alleged illegal possession of government documents and the discovery of more documents at his home after his alleged claim that he had returned all the documents that he said he didn't have, but nonetheless could have if he wanted to.
And now Trump calls for, “termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.” in order to reinstate himself as President.
Donald Trump attacks the very heart of American Democracy. Donald J. Trump. A name that will live in infamy.
