Ernest and Carol (Madoerin) Rigel were married on December 9th, 1972 at St Paul's Lutheran Church in Williamsburg, IA. They are the parents of Amy (Josh) Rhoades of Rochester, MN, Becky (Craig) Andrle of Hill AFB, UT, and Debra (Rich) Bell of Bloomington, MN. They have 7 grandchildren.
Ernest was born in Cedar Rapids and graduated from Prairie High School. He retired from Goss Graphics but has been a farmer throughout and continues that passion. Carol grew up in Williamsburg, IA, graduating from Williamsburg High School. She attended nursing school at St. Luke's School of Nursing. She retired as an RN from St. Luke's Hospital. Her garden keeps her busy every year.
