Laura Ann Colling, 39, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Nov. 30, 2022, at UnityPoint Health-St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. A private memorial service will be held. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Laura was born on May 2, 1983, in Yankton, S.D., the daughter of William Roman Colling and Catherine Mary (Brown) Turner. Laura had many talents and occupations. She was kindhearted with a passion for animals. Laura shared good humor with everyone she met. Her smile lit up the room and her laugh was contagious. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her father, William Colling of Marion; sons, Trevor Allen Eiben of Missouri and Jamison Adam Colling of Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Sara (Dennis Sweeney) Colling of Marion, Abbey (Michael) Pfeiffer of Cedar Rapids and Liz (Michael) Finley of Marion; and a brother, Nathan Turner of Marion. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding her in death was her mother, Catherine; grandparents, Roman and Delores Colling, Manny and Lucille Brown; and her aunt, Sandi Johnson.
