Sheri Lynn Osterkamp, 70, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Sheri was born on Jan. 19, 1952, in Oceanside, Calif., the daughter of Leland and Dorthy (Thomas) Loeffler. Sheri graduated in 1970, from Thomas Jefferson High School. She was united in marriage to Charles Osterkamp on Dec. 26, 1969, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Sheri was a homemaker. She most enjoyed the time spent with her family and friends. Sheri was a devoted and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister, whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son, Marcus (Lesley) Osterkamp of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; four grandchildren, Heather Osterkamp of Hiawatha, Iowa, Cassidy Osterkamp of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Madalyn Osterkamp of San Diego, Calif., and Isabela Osterkamp of Marion, Iowa; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Mann; three siblings, Richard Loeffler and Lisa (Mark) Nelson, both of California, and Lori Locke of Anamosa, Iowa; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Sheri was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Charles Osterkamp; and a son, Jason Osterkamp.
