Pamela S. Kramer, 69, died on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022, at home. A memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories Stateroom.
Pam was born on Dec. 2, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Melvin and Brownie Fritz. She was a very hardworking woman who cared about everyone. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She would always go the extra mile to give back or help anyone in need. She was an avid Hawkeye fan; she enjoyed going to games and screaming from her chair at home. She will be greatly missed by so many.
Pamela worked at Rockwell Collins from 1972-2013. In 1980, she was united with the love of her life, Thomas Kramer, in Cedar Rapids. They later moved to Lisbon, Iowa, where they built their home and lived for almost 30 years. After retirement, she and Tom enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, gardening and picking up sticks in their yard. After their long hard days of work, they often enjoyed sipping on margaritas.
Pamela is survived by her husband, Tom Kramer; children, Angie (Scott) Lagerquist of Cedar Rapids, Kara (Joe) Vaughan of Ashburn, Va., Heather (Dallas) Sickels of Independence, Iowa, and Eric (Joni) Jones of Oak Ridge, Mo.; sister, Deborah (Karl) Anderson of Spooner, Wis.; grandchildren, Ronnie Young, Erin (Matt) Morris, Bradley Sickels, Cody (Cheyenne) Koranda, Coleton Grimes, Riley Sickels, Cooper Vaughan, Chloe Vaughan, Keegan Jones, Eden Losch, Haylie Jones and Kylie Jones; great-grandchild, Lincoln Morris; special fur baby, Blacky; and former husband, Kenneth Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents; twin brothers, Leon and Lynn Allen Fritz; and brother-in-law, James Anderson.
